Today, we will share the story of "Cinderella."

Once upon a time, there was a nobleman who lost his wife and remarried, but his new wife was a wicked and ugly woman at heart. This woman had two daughters who were just as cruel as their mother.

The nobleman also had a daughter, Cinderella, who was kind-hearted and beautiful. After the marriage, the wicked stepmother forced Cinderella to do all the household chores, leaving her covered in ashes. Because of this, everyone in the family began calling her "Cinderella," which means "covered in ashes."

One day, the prince of the land decided to host a grand ball to find a suitable companion. The two wicked stepsisters insisted that Cinderella help them get ready for the ball. When they were ready to leave, Cinderella asked her stepmother, "Please, take me to the ball as well."

But her stepmother callously laughed and replied, "I can't imagine taking a pitiful girl like you to a royal ball."

With that, the wicked stepmother and her daughters left for the ball, leaving Cinderella behind. Alone and in tears, Cinderella was visited by her Fairy Godmother.

"Poor Cinderella, I will grant your wish."

With a wave of her wand, a pumpkin transformed into an elegant carriage, a mouse turned into a white horse, and Cinderella's plain clothes became the most beautiful gown she had ever seen. Finally, her Fairy Godmother gave her a pair of exquisite glass slippers and warned her, "You can go to the ball, but remember, the magic will only last until midnight. You must return before the clock strikes twelve, or your carriage, horse, and dress will return to their original state."

At the castle, everyone was enchanted by Cinderella's beauty like never before. The Prince, too, was captivated and asked her for a dance. They danced and talked, losing track of time, until the clock struck midnight.

In a rush, Cinderella fled the ball, down the castle's stairs, with the Prince following closely behind. However, she dropped one of her glass slippers on the stairs. The Prince picked it up.

After the ball, the Prince couldn't forget Cinderella. He issued a decree, "I will marry the woman whose foot perfectly fits this glass slipper."

The town crier and his assistants searched the kingdom for a girl whose foot would fit the slipper, but they couldn't find one. Finally, they arrived at Cinderella's house.

Her wicked stepsisters tried to put on the slipper but couldn't fit it. When Cinderella asked if she could try, her stepmother initially refused, but the servants insisted that they try the slipper on all the daughters.

To everyone's astonishment, the glass slipper fit Cinderella perfectly. She then revealed the other matching slipper from her pocket. It was clear that she was the beautiful princess.

Her stepsisters humbly apologized for their cruelty, and Cinderella was taken to the castle. There, she married the Prince, and they all lived happily ever after.
